POSITION SUMMARY:

The primary purpose of your job is to provide a safe environment, give emotional and social support and attend to the resident's physical needs and comfort. Performs direct care to the residents as assigned, in accordance with the residents care plan, and as directed by your Supervisor. Performs other duties as directed by representatives of the community. Follows all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintains established standards of practice set forth by the community's administration and Nursing Policies and Procedures.

Responsibilities after Class will include but are not limited to:

• Able to work at required shifts at Slate Belt Health & Rehabilitation Center.
• Be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care.
• Provide each of your assigned residents with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the residents assessment and care plan, and as may be directed by your supervisors.
• Reports any changes to the Nurse or designated charge person immediately.
• Supervise, assist or provide showers and baths.
• Supervise, assist residents to dress/undress Assure the cleanliness and dignity of each resident.
