Slick Career is Hiring a Front Desk Receptionist Near Bartlesville, OK

Global oilfield services company is seeking to immediately hire a Front Desk Receptionist. This Receptionist will be the first point of contact for the company, providing customer service to visitors and callers. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a positive attitude, be very organized, and flexible to handle a variety of job duties, with discretion and confidentiality, when needed.

Job Location: Bartlesville, OK

Pay Rate: $20.00 - $22.00 / hour (depends on experience)

Position Type: This position is being offered as contractor-to-hire status. Conversion to permanent employee is possible after 3-5 month initial period, depending on worker performance. During the contractor period, no benefits will be available.

Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Responsibilities:

  • Handle complex and confidential secretarial and administrative assignments.
  • Coordinate and plan the organization of events, ensuring all logistical and operational aspects are covered.
  • Oversee and manage the "called in" process, handling all related actions.
  • Manage the payment process of invoices.
  • Oversee the inventory of PPE and boots, ensuring all items are adequately stocked and maintained.
  • Coordinate all visitor arrangements (Hotel, driver etc…).
  • Type and proofread formal letters, correspondence, and miscellaneous documents; compose correspondence and responses to inquiries independently.
  • Answer telephone and handle requests for information at an advanced level.
  • Contact for daily visitors – Prepare Badge, Visitor Access, Answering Doors.
  • Set up and maintain department records and files.
  • Arrange travel schedules and reservations.
  • Supervise and train others.
  • Monitor accuracy, completeness and timeliness of all critical business systems transactions.
  • Coordinate meetings and office communications.
  • Schedule conference rooms, audio/visual equipment and other materials as requested.

Requirements:

  • Must have active driver license
  • High school diploma or GED strongly preferred
  • Must have previous experience as a Receptionist, Front Office, or in a similar role.
  • Must have a good customer service attitude
  • Must be organized and flexible within daily job tasks
  • This company has a very comprehensive drug testing requirement. Failure to pass the drug tests will result in the job offer being cancelled, and you will never be able to work for this company in the future. Please note: any marijuana use within the past 30 days would likely show up in the drug testing and would result in a failure.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
