SlingShot Connections is Hiring a Computer Repair Technician - Day & Swing Near Fremont, CA
Swing Shift: 3:45p.m. to 12:15a.m. ($23.50)
First week of training: 10a.m. to 5p.m.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs the set-up, calibration, testing and moderately complex troubleshooting of complex circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies
- Follow test process instructions (TPI)
- May perform other tasks including but not limited to unpacking, packaging, moving servers or racks, placing labels and crating
- May rework assemblies and/or systems as a result of testing
- Any additional assigned tasks
- Ability to regularly lift, push, and or move up to 50lbs
- Ability to stand for a prolonged period
- Ability to work on ladders
- Typically requires 1-2 year of related experience
- AS Computer Science and or equivalent experience in related field
- Strong attention to detail Ability to effectively work in a team environment
- Effectively communicate and follow verbal and written instructions
- Strong understanding of manufacturing documentation
- Knowledge of basic office applications, i.e. word processors, spreadsheets, and databases
- Strong knowledge and understanding of computer hardware
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues or failures and communicate findings in written form
