*Job Overview*

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team at a mid-size Plumbing Company. The Ideal candidate will be certified in payroll processing and have proficiency in utilizing ADP Workforce Now and QuickBooks Workforce.

*Responsibilities*

- Process weekly Payroll for employees accurately and in a timely manner

- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations concerning payroll

- Maintain precise employee records, including, timekeeping data and benefits deductions

- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and related issues

- Ensures garnishments are submitted to ADP timely and review all entered garnishments and calculations for accuracy

- Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure proper payroll setup and final payments

- Generate reports on payroll expenses, overtime hours, and other relevant metrics as needed

- Assist with audits and special projects as needed

*Experience*

The successful candidate should possess:

- Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now and QuickBooks Workforce, or similar payroll software

- Knowledge of tax regulations related to payroll processing

- Strong analytical skills to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly

Preferred Qualifications:

- Certified in Payroll Processing

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

- Strong communication skills

- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40.00 per week
