We are looking for an experienced Baker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking and a commitment to producing high-quality products. The Baker will be responsible for preparing a variety of baked goods, including cakes, breads, pastries, and other desserts. The successful candidate will also be able to follow recipes accurately and work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare doughs, batters, and icings according to recipes.
• Decorate cakes and other baked goods with icing and other toppings.
• Operate ovens, mixers, and other baking equipment.
• Ensure that all ingredients are fresh and of the highest quality.
• Monitor the temperature of ovens and adjust as needed.
• Work with co-workers as a team to ensure customer satisfaction and a pleasant work environment
• Monitor and maintain Smallcakes product par levels and communicate to the back of house and/or Smallcakes leadership
• Prepare cupcake boxes
• Work point of sale system to complete sales
• Effectively and timely communicate special order
• Smile and greet customers in a friendly manner
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
