SmallHD is Hiring a Packaging Associate Near Cary, NC
What will I be doing?You will be assembling and packaging accessory inventory to be shipped with our monitors from the production line.
A typical day might include the following
- Labeling and stocking material quickly and accurately
- Accurately kit incoming orders in a fast-paced stockroom environment
- Accurately enter data into our ERP system for stock locations, quantities, and kitting
- Proper packing of delicate instruments and larger, bulky items in accordance with documented procedures
- General light building maintenance (cleaning work area, taking boxes to dumpster, etc)
- Kit all components for production builds, working off of Bill of Materials (BOM) and issuing parts to work orders.
- Pack items securely in bags and boxes
- Perform quality check on items during packing process
- Count and record quantities being packed
- Audit kits for accuracy
- Other duties as required
Qualified candidates must have
- A High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1 year stockroom experience is preferred
- Ability and desire to perform physical work, be able to pick and pack products ranging anywhere from 5lbs-50 lbs.
- Ability to read, write, and follow written and spoken instructions carefully
- Must be able to communicate clearly and efficiently
- Ability to learn and follow all safety requirements and perform job in a safe manner at all times.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office Programs and Google (G Suite) applications
- Self-Starter with a strong work ethic
- Ability to adjust to last-minute priority changes
- Ability to work well with others in a team environment
- Has a very high attention to detail
- Is able to take constructive criticism
- Prior experience using ERP systems preferred
- This position is based in the Cary, NC office
- Reporting to Materials Manager
