Mechanical Insulation - Sr. Estimator

Prospective Candidates,

We are seeking to fill a full-time position as Senior Mechanical Insulation Estimator with the SMART ENERGY INSULATION group of companies. The position being offered has an emphasis on (but not limited to) Communications with customers, project Estimating, working knowledge/expertise FastWrap ®, working knowledge/expertise M.I.K.E. ®, Communications with Sales staff, Branch Managers, Project set up, Cost Control, Data collection, Safety, Applications, Scheduling and allocation of resources (labor, materials, equipment, etc.) to have most accurate and comprehensive estimates for all project opportunities. We are seeking experienced individuals who have a minimum of 7 years estimating experience in Mechanical area (Insulation-preferred or HVAC, pipe or plumbing). The position would serve all Smart Energy offices in the Midwest. The position is full time and work is in-person at any of our Midwest offices (Farmington Hills, MI – Perrysburg, OH – Lansing, MI). This position requires Sr Estimator to visit and correspond with clients regularly.

We are pleased to make an offer of the following compensation for this position:

ANNUAL SALARY (paid weekly): range see below (with Full Medical & Dental Benefits)

MEDICAL & DENTAL BENEFITS: BCBS - PPO/HSA through BCBS

LIFE INSURANCE: Policy Value $50,000

DISABILTY INSURANCE Short & Long - Term Disability Provided

401K: 2% automatic with additional 4% company match (highest amount offered in industry)

VACATION-PERSONAL-SICK DAYS: (2) Full Weeks (10 Workdays) Paid Vacation. Additional Week Paid Vacation after 8 full years. 

NON-COMPETE: Position will require that successful candidates enter into a Non-Compete Agreement upon start. 

CHANGES IN COMPENSATION: Annual review of employees’ performance to objectives, extraordinary efforts and exceeding expectations - may result in a merit increase. All pay and compensation changes are at Companies discretion.

DRUG TESTING & BACKGROUND: Note – this position requires the Estimator to visit job sites. These site visits require drug testing, background checks for criminal activity and climbing stairs or high locations. This position will require employees to satisfactorily obtain all necessary access to project sites.
