Position Summary
This position will be responsible for the upkeep of the Blair Administrative buildings including, but not limited to, the cleaning and maintenance of the buildings, as well as other duties as needed. The goal is to keep our building in a clean and orderly condition.
The position will work under the supervision of the Blair Plant Manager; but will require taking direction from other Smart Sand managers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain building facilities.
- Perform the necessary room set-ups for scheduled meetings.
- Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum floors using cleaning solutions, tools, and equipment.
- Clean and/or polish walls, ceilings, windows, and building fixtures.
- Clean walkways, parking lots, and steps daily.
- Dust furniture, walls, and other equipment.
- Gather and empty trash.
- Clean bathrooms.
- Notify plant management of need to order materials/supplies, need for major repairs, or additions to building operating systems.
- Assist in building security, locking and unlocking.
- Assist with office equipment moves as needed.
- Work cooperatively to comply with facility-wide environmental and quality management systems.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior experience in cleaning and maintenance strongly preferred.
Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Integrity and must be able to work independently.
- Must be adaptable and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Have basic knowledge of cleaning methods and products.
- Good judgment is required.
- Must have high safety standards for self and others.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 30 per week
