In this entry-level role, the Promotional Assistant will leverage their upbeat personality and ability to capture an audience to generate excitement among target demographics during promotional events and campaigns. The Promotional Assistant will also support the promotions team with various administrative, advertising, marketing, and sales tasks.
Key Responsibilities:

• Advertising Development: Create and publish advertisements to boost brand awareness and attendance at promotional events.
• Promotional Setup: Arrange promotional displays and visual merchandising to excite consumers about featured brands and products/services.
• Consumer Interaction: Engage with consumers through demonstrations and explanations, fostering brand connections and excitement.
• Brand Knowledge: Build and maintain in-depth knowledge of each featured brand, product, or service, and educate new employees about their benefits, costs, and details.
• Inventory Management: Manage supplies and inventory for promotional events.
• Sales Support: Assist with basic sales tasks to support promotional goals.
• Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with retail partners, marketing and advertising clients, and stakeholders.

Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate will successfully progress from this entry-level Promotional Assistant role into an advanced management training program. This program is designed to prepare team members for management roles in various aspects of promotional and experiential marketing, including brand marketing, advertising, client relations, sales, public relations, merchandising, sales promotion, client acquisition, and account management.
Requirements:

• Education: College degree in sales, marketing, advertising, or a related field preferred (new graduates are welcome to apply).
• Experience: 1-2 years of experience in sales promotion, marketing, advertising, or retail is an asset. Internship experience and previous entry-level experience will also be considered.
• Communication Skills: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
