Smart Solutions is Hiring a Public Relations and Communications Assistant - Entry Level Near Newport, VA
As a Public Relations and Communications Assistant, you will work closely with our PR team to develop and implement strategic communication initiatives. You will assist in creating engaging content for press releases, social media, and other platforms. You will also have the opportunity to participate in planning and executing promotional events and campaigns.
Responsibilities include
- Managing and executing projects assigned by the Marketing Manager
- Integrating PR campaigns with customer promotions in collaboration with key accounts
- Coordinating in-store service events and ensuring successful operations
- Building and nurturing relationships with customers to communicate promotional services effectively
- Developing and refining measurement strategies for PR campaigns with the Marketing Manager
- Creating promotional marketing materials and overseeing visual merchandising
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with suppliers and retail event personnel
- Maintaining accurate records of event traffic, production, and inventory
- Identifying new opportunities and innovative solutions for efficiency
- Opportunity for advancement to senior campaign management roles based onperformance
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience in public relations or communications is a plus
