Position Overview
- We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented QA/QC Manager to join Woolpert’s team on a long-term contract basis.
- The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience with Cityworks AMS and will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the quality and compliance of all project deliverables.
- This role offers a hybrid work environment, combining remote work with on-site responsibilities in Austin, Texas.
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) processes and procedures.
- Oversee and coordinate QA/QC activities to ensure compliance with project requirements, standards, and regulations.
- Utilize Cityworks AMS to manage, monitor, and report on project quality metrics and performance.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and address quality issues and non-conformities.
- Collaborate with project teams, stakeholders, and contractors to resolve quality-related issues and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare and present detailed QA/QC reports and documentation to senior management and clients.
- Provide training and support to team members on QA/QC best practices and Cityworks AMS functionalities.
- Ensure continuous improvement of QA/QC processes and contribute to the development of quality standards and guidelines.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience with Cityworks AMS.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Engineering, Construction Management, Quality Management) or equivalent experience.
- Proven track record of managing QA/QC activities in large-scale projects.
- Strong knowledge of QA/QC methodologies, standards, and regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a hybrid work environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with various stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using QA/QC tools and software, including Cityworks AMS.
- Experience working in the public sector or with municipal projects.
- Familiarity with asset management and maintenance practices.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
