Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented QA/QC Manager to join Woolpert’s team on a long-term contract basis.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience with Cityworks AMS and will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the quality and compliance of all project deliverables.
This role offers a hybrid work environment, combining remote work with on-site responsibilities in Austin, Texas.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) processes and procedures.
Oversee and coordinate QA/QC activities to ensure compliance with project requirements, standards, and regulations.
Utilize Cityworks AMS to manage, monitor, and report on project quality metrics and performance.
Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and address quality issues and non-conformities.
Collaborate with project teams, stakeholders, and contractors to resolve quality-related issues and implement corrective actions.
Prepare and present detailed QA/QC reports and documentation to senior management and clients.
Provide training and support to team members on QA/QC best practices and Cityworks AMS functionalities.
Ensure continuous improvement of QA/QC processes and contribute to the development of quality standards and guidelines.
Qualifications
Minimum of 10 years of experience with Cityworks AMS.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Engineering, Construction Management, Quality Management) or equivalent experience.
Proven track record of managing QA/QC activities in large-scale projects.
Strong knowledge of QA/QC methodologies, standards, and regulations.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a hybrid work environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with various stakeholders.
Proficiency in using QA/QC tools and software, including Cityworks AMS.
Preferred Skills
Experience working in the public sector or with municipal projects.
Familiarity with asset management and maintenance practices.
Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
