Job Overview:

We are looking for a seasoned Delivery Chief Architect to lead the technical management and delivery of SAP solutions using the smartShift’s Intelligent Automation platform. The role requires a deep understanding of SAP ABAP, system architectures, solution design, and technical leadership to ensure the delivery of high-quality services that meet client expectations. The Delivery Architect will be pivotal in managing escalations, guiding technical teams, and ensuring that our SAP solutions are designed and executed flawlessly.

Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Delivery:

Oversee the technical aspects of SAP project delivery, ensuring adherence to prescribed practices and quality standards.

Act as the senior technical point of contact for clients, addressing high-level technical queries and concerns.

Coordinate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure timely and successful delivery of projects.

Escalation & Risk Management:

Manage technical escalations, identify potential risks, and devise proactive resolutions to mitigate the impact on the delivery timeline and quality.

Provide expert advice and solutions to complex technical problems during the project lifecycle.

Team Management & Development:

Mentor and lead a team of SAP architects and developers, fostering an environment of continuous learning and improvement.

Ensure the technical team is adept in using the smartShift IP and stays updated with the latest SAP technologies and practices.

Client Engagement:

Collaborate with client teams to understand their technical requirements and challenges.

Facilitate workshops and training sessions to educate clients on the smartShift platform and SAP solutions.

Solution Architecture & Design:

Work closely with product, engineering, and solutions teams to architect SAP solutions leveraging smartShift’s Intelligent Automation platform.

Provide guidance and direction on developing and integrating tailored solutions within S/4HANA transformations and SAP Clean Core initiatives.

Qualifications:

Over 17 years of experience in SAP system architecture, with a track record of successfully delivering large-scale SAP projects and hands-on ABAP experience.

Comprehensive knowledge of SAP technologies, including SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP Fiori, and SAP Cloud Platform.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage high-pressure situations effectively.

Experience managing offshore teams, demonstrating strong collaboration and leadership in a distributed work environment.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of navigating fast-paced and dynamic settings.

Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
