Overview: SmartSource is seeking a dedicated Onsite IT Support Technician to provide comprehensive technical support and system administration services for our client in Auburn AL.

The role involves onsite support encompassing T1-T2 support duties, system administration tasks, and infrastructure maintenance. This position is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems and services at multiple sites within the Bailey Harris area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide T1-T2 technical support including desktop support, basic network troubleshooting, and infrastructure maintenance.
• Perform full infrastructure maintenance activities such as patching, implementing new solutions, and ensuring security protocols are adhered to.
• Managing anywhere from 15-20 support tickets per week
• Configure temporary IT setups for project sites as required, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
  • Collaborate closely with the clients remote support team to resolve complex issues and escalate as needed.
• Occasionally work afterhours or weekends to accommodate project needs or system upgrades.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in providing T1-T2 technical support and system administration.
• Strong knowledge of desktop support, basic networking, and IT infrastructure maintenance.
• Experience in implementing and maintaining IT security measures and protocols.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel to different sites within the area as required.

Skills and Competencies:

• 2-4 years of proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
• Familiarity with IT security best practices and data protection.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact professionally with clients and stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Work Environment:

• Regular work hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
• Occasional afterhours or weekend work may be required based on project demands.

Tools and Equipment:

• No specific tools required; however, candidates should be prepared to utilize company-provided equipment and resources.

Salary Requirement:

- $60,000 with anywhere between $3,000-$10,000 based on customer satisfaction and performance
