SmartTalent is looking to hire an HVAC Maintenance Technician for a produce wholesaler company in Seattle. The ideal candidate will be motivated to work full-time and has chillers experience, specifically with reefers. (Details below). 

Pay: $21-$27 DOE 

Title: Maintenance Technician – HVAC

Location: Seattle, WA 

Schedule: 6am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday

Summary/Objective: 

As a member of our team, you will install and maintain heating, air conditioning, ventilation and refrigeration equipment, duct work and accessories at various commercial projects for the company’s Seattle locations. 

Qualified candidates must have good communication skills, and mechanical aptitude. Teamwork is a priority and apprentice installers must be willing to work with and assist co-workers as needed. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

· Install HVAC refrigeration equipment, ducts, diffusers, accessories, etc. 

· Use power tools to aid in installation of equipment and ducting. 

· Work from elevated surfaces such aerial lifts and climb ladders. 

· Maintain organized work environment. 

· Uses appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as prescribed by company program(s) or procedure(s). 

· Provides feedback on developing safety initiatives and plans to eliminate exposures that could cause accidents. 

Secondary Duties: 

· Become familiar with current Mechanical Codes and apply practical job performance. 

· Participating in continuing education training to career growth model. 

· Assist in maintaining assigned company vehicles and equipment. 

Required Skills and Experience:

· 1 years of working knowledge of refrigeration repair/maintenance.

· 1 years of previous building maintenance and facilities experience.

· Ability to work OT as requested by management to complete special projects.

· Ability to lift up to 75bs frequently.

· Ability to work in a refrigerated warehouse up to 4 hours at a time.

· Ability to work in the outdoor elements as the job needs arise.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

· Drivers License with Clean 3 Year Driving History.

· Basic experience with Carpentry, Electrical, or Plumbing.
