SmartHire is seeking an Assembly / Maintenance Mechanic Level III to join a client in Everett who is a leader in their industry. Ideal client will have a minimum of 3 years of food manufacturing or pharmaceutical packaging machinery maintenance experience.聽
This is a Direct Hire position paying between $29-$33 an hour
Benefits include paid employee healthcare, Life, AD&D and Long-term disability coverage, 401(k) and more.
Shift: Monday - Thursday, 5:00 am - 3:30 pm (Fridays off or for OT if required)聽
The Assembly Mechanic III will perform assembly, maintenance and troubleshooting of high-quality packaging machinery in a manufacturing facility. They will be required to have a hands-on approach to perform job duties, complete work accurately, meet deadlines and have effective communication skills.聽
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
路 Building packaging machine sub- assemblies
路 Checking parts for proper manufacturing
路 Installing mechanical components and sub-assemblies into machines using diagrams and written specifications
路 Mounting auxiliary equipment to the machine
路 Correctly positioning parts and drill, tap and ream holes at designated points
路 Align and connect parts together with fasteners using hand and power tools
路 Setup and operate machine for testing purposes.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES INCLUDE:
路 3 years of food or similar packaging machinery maintenance experience is required.
路 The ability to read schematics and blueprints is required.
路 Maintenance experience in Auto/Diesel, and/or fabrication is a plus.
路 The ability to stand much of the working day
The ability to lift at least 40 pounds.
路 The ability to multi-task
