Role Summary:

As a Regional Director of Operations you will play a pivotal role in leading the operational excellence of our upper Midwest locations. As a driving force behind our success, you will align teams, optimize processes, and ensure consistent guest experiences across all locations. Your strategic vision, hands-on leadership, and operational expertise will be vital in driving growth, fostering collaboration, and maximizing the efficiency of our operations.

What You’ll Do In This Role:

Operational Excellence:

  • Lead the operational performance of regional locations, ensuring alignment with our company's values, standards, and strategic objectives.
  • Implement best practices to streamline processes, reduce operational costs, and enhance efficiency.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and take proactive measures to meet or exceed targets.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Provide hands-on leadership to managers, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Identify and nurture up-and-coming leaders, supporting their career growth and development within Smash Park.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and create individualized development plans for each General Manager.

Guest Experience:

  • Ensure a consistent and exceptional guest experience across all regional locations.
  • Collaborate with General Managers to address guest feedback, resolve issues, and implement improvements.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate closely with various departments, including Marketing, Sales, and Finance, to align operational efforts with broader organizational goals.
  • Communicate effectively across functions to share insights, challenges, and opportunities.

Financial Management:

  • Oversee the financial performance of regional locations, monitoring expenses, and revenue.
  • Analyze monthly financial reports, review with venue managers and take corrective actions as needed to achieve financial budgets and goals.

Process Improvement and Innovation:

  • Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation to enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Implement new technologies, tools, and methodologies to drive operational excellence and stay ahead of industry trends.

The Experience You’ll Bring:

  • Required: 10 years of progressive experience in restaurant/hospitality operations management, with a proven track record of leading and optimizing multi-site operations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of operational best practices and industry standards.
  • Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with a passion for driving high-performance teams.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, KPI monitoring, and performance metrics.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to align operational efforts with broader business goals.
  • Proficient in using technology and software to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and financial performance.
  • Proven experience in driving process improvement initiatives.
  • Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $125,000.00 per year
