Job Duties

Job Duties
- Cleans parts using various hand and powered hand tools to remove metal slag or finish surface debris, ensuring parts are cleaned to work order specifications
- Washes parts using a wash booth or chemical solvents to remove all debris in preparation for painting
- Performs assembly work as required for finished product according to work order specifications; performs accurate fitting and adjusting to required tolerances as specified
- Packages final assembled parts for shipment according to work order specifications
- Repeatedly inspects work to ensure quality of product
- Records accurate labor records
- Maintains a clean work area while performing all work maintaining quality standards
- Performs all work in a safe manner by wearing proper PPE for each job and adhering to safety standards and guidelines
- Performs other duties as required
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred but not required
- Willingness to be trained in the following areas: Quality & Safety, Blue Print Reading, Hand Held Gauges, Rust Prevention, Weld Characteristics, and Final Inspection
- Ability to read and follow directions as well as operate machines
- Able to lift 50lbs and to stand for long periods of time
- Able to complete Job Specific Standard Work Instructions and Job Safety Analysis
- A Pulmonary Function Test is required for employees performing work that requires use of an air supplied hood
