Powder Mountain is a year-round resort and real estate development project nestled throughout 10,000 acres in the Wasatch Mountains of Northern Utah. Our Environment:

We have beautiful buildings in Eden and onsite on Powder Mountain. This position will be at our exclusive Sky Lodge location, at the top of Powder Mountain, and Powder Landing location on the shore of Pine View Reservoir in Eden.

Requirements

Overview:

In the context of an exceptional commitment to hospitality, this Mixologist role will be based at Powder Mountain’s exclusive Neighbor’s locations.

1. Sky Lodge, at the top of Powder Mountain

2. Powder Landing, our new summer concept, on the beautiful shore of Pine View Reservoir.

Both locations are private and serve our hyper-affluent clientele.

The Bartender/Mixologist will contribute to the smooth execution of various on-site mountain events.

This role revolves around bartending services, as well as other restaurant/hospitality needs ensuring that all guests are promptly greeted and served with the highest level of quality service.

Requirements:

Guest Service and Interaction:

  • A respectful, polite, polished, and astute attitude is required.
  • Respect the private our guests.
  • Greet and assist guests warmly and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Offer recommendations that align with chef menu and/or the guest's request.
  • Craft, mix, garnish, and serve a variety of high-end alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
  • Prepare fresh mixers with ingredients and garnishes for drink recipes.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and team members to create thematic holiday and event drink menus.

Specific Bar Duties:

  • ? Clean bar, bar area, polish glass ware, utensils, and bottles.
  • ? Break down bar each night, reset bar each morning.
  • ? Adhere rigorously to company and state guidelines for alcohol handling, sanitation, and safety protocols.
  • ? Maintain clean and orderly spaces through sweeping, mopping, sanitizing, and dishwashing.

Inventory and Stock Management:

  • Keep records of labeling, dating, and rotation for both alcoholic and non-alcoholic items.
  • Manage daily inventory and initiate orders under the supervision of your manager.
  • Maintain inventory records and dispensing records for DABS (Department of Alcohol Beverage Service).
  • Create, organize, and manage stock lists.
  • Contribute to beverage and snack inventory management.

Responsibilities:

  • Report directly to the Restaurant Manager and Assistant Restaurant Managers.
  • Fulfill any additional duties assigned by the culinary management.
  • Comply with dress code, uniform standards, and health code regulations.
  • Adhere to Powder Mountain's attendance policy and employee handbook.
  • Execute daily operations effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Provide assistance with Front of House (FOH) duties as required:
  • Open and close Sky Lodge & Powder Landing Bars...
  • Host guests, check IDs, and manage conflicts professionally.
  • Operate POS system for order-taking and transactions.
  • Serve and expedite dishes to guests.
  • Support cashiering and payment processing with understanding of the POS system.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Current Utah Food Handlers Permit
  • Current Utah Sips & Tips Certification
  • Age 21
  • Bartending experience 2 years is preferred.
  • Uphold excellent personal hygiene, a polished appearance, follow Powder Mountain’s uniform guidelines.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a calm demeanor.
  • Reliable Transportation that can handle adverse driving conditions OR use public transportation.
  • Physical Requirements
  • Ability to continually bend, kneel, reach, climb stairs.
  • Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours)
  • Continual use of manual dexterity and gross motor skills with frequent use of bi-manual dexterity and fine motor skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 40lbs.
