Description

Our Powder Stays Housekeeping Technicians assist the Housekeeping Manager and Lead with the day to day operations of the Powder Stays lodging department. The Housekeeping team has a huge impact on the guests' first impression of the mountain and this role is responsible for the overall cleanliness of each home; with detailed quality care, we can ensure our guests' and owners overall satisfaction is met. This team will work together daily to maintain a clean, comfortable and sanitary environment for our guests and owners. Typical daily duties include but are not limited to: general, detail house cleaning tasks: sweeping, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, scrubbing toilets, counter tops, sinks, showers, etc. As a customer focused organization, the ultimate goal is to help create a positive environment for guests and owners from their booking time through their entire stay. The Technician must be willing and able to contribute to the development of a growing team environment and ever changing situations to ensure optimal guest and owner experiences are achieved. Each Technician is expected to adhere to our company ethos of being a big hearted champion who picks up the trash!

Requirements

  • General and specific housekeeping duties related to the cleaning of the entire property; includes but not limited to: kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms, living rooms, decks, patios, garages, etc.
  • Duties include but not limited to: dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing toilets, counter tops, showers, sinks, furniture, baseboards, walls, appliances, removal of trash and debris, making beds, etc.
  • Responsible for organizing areas and having a detailed eye for cleanliness, all while maintaining a quick and efficient work ethic.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and expectations to deliver the highest level of cleanliness consistent to a Luxury resort.
  • Contributing to a safe and healthy work environment and follow the direction of the Housekeeping Lead and/or Manager.
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude within an ever changing work atmosphere and flexible daily schedule.
  • Ability to work in a group environment as well as by self if needed and/or necessary
  • Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment in workable order to ensure a high level of efficiency is met.
  • Assist Housekeeping Lead/Manager with low inventory counts/restocking to maintain supply quantities.
  • Ability to notify Team leader when equipment or supplies are in need of replenishing.
  • Experience with a variety of cleaning tools, chemicals and equipment. Ability to work with little to no supervision and maintain a high level of performance.
  • Coordinate with the Maintenance team in a professional manner to communicate necessary repairs and fixes.
  • Report and return any guest/owner properties found in the rooms while rendering services.
  • Adhere to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of company related practices
  • Act in a manner and ensure fellow team members act in a manner that demonstrates a high standard of values consistent with the Powder Stays leadership team.
  • Clean, disinfect and store all equipment at the end of the shift in the appropriate and designated areas.
  • Perform detailed deep cleans of homes when required.
  • Assist with restocking of amenities and toiletries in each home.
  • Other tasks and duties as assigned by Lead, Manager and/or Director.

  • Ability to organize and multi-task within an ever changing work environment.
  • Maintain effective relationships with team members, management teams, guests, and Members.
  • Self Motivated and willing to take ownership of all assigned duties to ensure high owner and guest satisfaction.
  • Must have the ability to adapt to a changing business plan to ensure the success of Powder Stays.
  • Be a problem solver and forward thinker and exhibit strong leadership and decision making skills.
  • Possess a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality for owners/guests to the property.
  • Communicate with owners, team members and the community in a professional, transparent, and engaging manner.
  • Have organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and coordinate assigned daily tasks to ensure completion

Job Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years of age
  • 1-2 years work experience preferred
  • Drivers license with a good driving record is required
  • Maintain regular and prompt attendance
  • Must have reliable transportation and the ability to get to working areas in inclement weather
