Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Assistant/ RDA to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during dental procedures
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
• Take digital X-rays
• Ensure patients are comfortable and prepared for treatment
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with scheduling appointments
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care
• Perform basic laboratory tasks, such as making temporary crowns and impressions
• Manage inventory of dental supplies and materials

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited dental assistant program
• Current CPR certification
• Valid Dental Assistant license (if required by state)
• X-ray certification (preferred)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of dental software (e.g., FUSE) is a plus

Experience:

• Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred but not required; new graduates are welcome to apply.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• On call

Experience:

• Dental assisting: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• X-Ray Certification (Required)
