Weideman Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics Position: Temp Orthodontic Assistant (OA)/ Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) Location: Citrus Heights, CA Schedule: Part-time (Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, 1st Friday of month- ortho days) or full-time starting this summer *potential to convert from temp to regular* Hours of Operation : Mondays-Thursdays 8a.m. - 5p.m. and Fridays 7:30a.m. - 3:30p.m.

The ideal candidate will LOVE working with people and have the following qualifications:
Great customer service skills and a passion for working with kids
Minimum 1 year as an RDA or OA in orthodontic practice
Must possess and RDA or OA
Fun, positive, and caring attitude
Team-oriented
Must be available for full-time 5 days per week (Mon- Fri), or part-time 3 days per week on ortho days (Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, and 1st Friday of month)
Responsible, respectful, and self-motivated
Job duties include:
Allowable RDA and OA duties as set forth by the Dental Board of California
Assisting the dentist/orthodontist during examinations and treatment
Supporting day-to-day operations by delivering quality work and excellent patient care
Recording treatment information in patient records and all pertinent medical and dental history
Preparing treatment rooms, instruments, and tray setups for dental procedures
Sterilizing and disinfecting instruments and equipment
Greeting patients by name and preparing them for treatment with a friendly, service-centered disposition
Utilizing pano, cephs, iTero, and other approved photography tools

Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of standing, leaning and bending
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
Dexterity of arms, hands, and fingers to handle dental tools
Specific vision abilities include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
Must be physically able to administer CPR
Pay range is $25 - $30 depending on experience and credentials
