Dental Receptionist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Dental Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will handle various administrative tasks, provide excellent patient service, and support the front desk operations. Proficiency in MacPractice software and knowledge of additional languages such as Japanese or Spanish is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Insurance Verification & Claims: Verify patient insurance benefits, file and follow up on insurance claims, and ensure accurate records.
• Treatment Planning: Collaborate with the dental team to prepare and explain treatment plans to patients, ensuring they understand procedures and costs.
• Patient Checkout: Handle patient payments, schedule follow-up appointments, and provide any necessary documentation.
• Answering Phones: Manage incoming calls promptly and professionally, scheduling appointments and addressing patient inquiries.
• Team Support: Assist with other front desk duties as needed, ensuring a smooth workflow and a positive experience for patients.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Prior experience in a dental or medical office preferred.
• Software Skills: Proficiency in MacPractice or similar dental management software.
• Languages: Fluency in English required; proficiency in Japanese or Spanish is a plus.
• Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Organizational Skills: Strong multitasking abilities and attention to detail.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
