We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our amazing, growing team! The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing front desk operations. This role requires proficiency in dental terminology and experience with dental software, particularly Ora Dental, to ensure smooth clinic operations.
Duties
- Greet patients warmly and check them in for their appointments.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments efficiently.
- Manage patient records and ensure all information is up-to-date and accurate.
- Perform insurance verification to facilitate billing processes.
- Assist with coding as necessary for patient treatments.
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding services, appointments, and insurance coverage.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area to create a welcoming environment for patients.
- Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient flow throughout the clinic.
Skills
- Proven experience working at the front desk of a dental clinic or similar environment.
- Proficiency in using Ora or similar dental management software.
- Strong understanding of dental terminology and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to perform insurance verification accurately and efficiently.
- Familiarity with dental coding practices is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism at all times.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour
