The accounts payable specialist will process invoices and work with vendors to ensure timely payments.
To be successful in this role, you must have strong attention to detail, at least 1 year of experience processing accounts payables and vendor management, and work well in a fast paced collaborative environment.
Title: Accounts Payable Specialist
Hourly salary: $25-30 P/Hr; 4 hrs per day, M-F
Location: Wilton, CT (Hybrid / Remote Flexibility)
Responsibilities:
- Managing accounts payable using accounting software and other programs
- Handling accounts payable for separate entities and vendors
- Analyzing workflow processes
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with new and existing vendors
- Ensuring bills and payroll are paid in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to departmental procedures
- Processing due invoices for payments
- Comparing purchase orders, prices, terms of payment and other charges
- Processing transactions and performing accounting duties such as account maintenance, recording entries and reconciling books of accounts
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 1-3 years of processing accounts payable, vendor management
- Work experience with Excel, QuickBooks or ERP systems
- Must have great communication skills and work well in a collaborative work environment
