Title: Senior Manager, Financial Reporting

Salary: $110,000 to $120,000 Bonus eligible

Location: Morristown, NJ (Hybrid)

Reporting to the Controller, and providing key financial insights to the CFO, a growing state of the art global manufacturing and engineering company is seeking to hire a talented Senior Manager, Financial Reporting who will be responsible for performing financial reporting and consolidations across the enterprise. This opportunity will allow the successful candidate to directly contribute to the company’s success while offering the potential to grow one’s career with a successful and quickly expanding enterprise.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsibilities for the Senior Manager, Financial Reporting will include performing monthly financial consolidation of corporate and subsidiary entities, including foreign translations, intercompany profit analysis, and monthly elimination entries.
  • Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements in compliance with U.S. GAAP, and preparing statement of cash flow for all entities, including foreign subsidiaries, in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
  • Preparing monthly closing entries and monthly variance analysis for multiple subsidiaries.
  • Developing and maintaining the integrity of the financial reporting process, financial controls, and key metrics related to manufacturing performance.
  • Participating in the annual budget and quarterly forecasting activities.
  • Preparing schedules used for quarterly income tax estimates.
  • Maintaining Fixed Assets register and calculation of monthly depreciation.
  • Performing Foreign Exchange Gain/Loss calculations
  • Partnering with the outside audit firm in supporting the completion of the annual audit.
  • Supporting special projects, including involvement with the integration of key acquisitions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business. CPA or Masters degree are a plus.
  • 5 plus years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial products environment preferred.
  • Financial statement preparation and consolidation experience with income statements, balance sheets and cash flow statements, along with good knowledge of GAAP required.
  • Knowledge of Infor Visual financial system or similar ERP systems is a plus.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access.
