You will be exposed to all accounting facets of the business portfolio. You will maintain the books and records for the commercial and mixed use portfolio and suggestion profitable financial decisions working with acquisitions and due diligence for the portfolio.

Title: Property Accountant

Location: Harrison, NY Area (Hybrid Flexibility)

Compensation: $75,000 - $90,000 (DOE)

Job Responsibilities:

All aspects of the quarterly and annual accounting close and financial reporting cycles - including balance sheet and income statement preparation for assigned portfolio of properties

Preparation of monthly and quarterly reports to joint venture partners and lenders

Preparation of work papers to be used in conjunction with audits

Input and analyze budgets for assigned portfolio of properties

Participate in due diligence and integration of property acquisitions

Qualifications:

Minimum Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

1-10 years of experience in a similar role

Strong analytical skills

US GAAP

Real Estate experience

Preferred:

CPA Track/License, Big 4, REIT

Experience with MRI Software

Desirable Traits

Positive attitude, successful working in a team environment

Excellent and thoughtful verbal and written communication skills

Ability to juggle and prioritize projects in a fast-paced environment
