Title: Senior FP&A Analyst - Hybrid

Salary: $110,000 to $140,000, Bonus eligible

Location: Jersey City, NJ, or NYC

A successful and rapidly growing Metro New York based multinational property and casualty insurance company, offering a wide range of products to its clients through its various subsidiaries, is seeking to hire a key Senior FP&A Analyst to assist management with developing forward looking financials for their corporate Global Technology Operations. Additionally, the Senior FP&A Analyst will assist with the analysis of expenses, collaborate across IT/Operations and other departments, and contribute to financial modeling and reporting. The role will afford the successful candidate the opportunity to provide proactive guidance to the SVP Finance during an exciting time for the company.

Responsibilities

• Responsibilities for the Senior FP&A Analyst will include assisting with the preparation of expense reporting.
• Collaborating across IT Operations, business units, and other corporate functions to gather relevant data and insights.
• Supporting the development of financial models to forecast and analyze expenses, including KPI tracking and benchmarking.
• Contributing to the budgeting and forecasting process and conducting variance analysis and providing explanations for budget-to-actual differences.
• Supporting the collection and ongoing tracking of quantitative (expense, benefit) and qualitative information.
• Staying up to date with industry and functional trends.
• Preparing ad hoc financial reports and analyses for senior management.

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• 3-5 plus years of experience in FP&A or Management Consulting.
• Experience within the Property & Casualty sector.
• Program/project management experience preferred.
• Business case (discounted cash flow) modeling experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Excel; familiarity with PowerBI or other business intelligence tools preferred.
