The Court Administrator manages, directs, supervises, coordinates and plans the operations of the County Court at Law, and assists the County Court at Law Judge.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThe Court Administrator is responsible for supervising the County Court at Law employees.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Assists the Judge in making the Court open and accessible to all litigants and other users.Prepares payroll for all County Court at Law employees.Speaks with the media when needed.Meets responsibilities in a timely and expeditious manner.Ensures that the Court’s personnel practices and decisions establish high standards of personal integrity.Performs other duties as assigned.
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
Must have an Associate’s Degree or higher, or relevant work experience.Licenses and CertificationsRequired to obtain 16 hours of continuing legal education (CLE) per year.Physical Demands and Work EnvironmentDaily sitting, standing, walking, stooping, bending, reaching, pulling, lifting and moving items weighing up to 40 pounds in an office environment.
