We are locally owned and operated small business in Rupert, ID and have been serving the Western US since 1990. We help customers find the fertilizer-handling, compost, seed and livestock equipment they need for purchase or rent. We also offer custom compost turning and screening services around the Magic Valley. Our small team of employees work together daily to provide the best products and service to our customers. JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking an experienced Equipment Operator to join our team. As an Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy machinery and equipment to perform tasks such as compost turning, screening, and transporting materials. The ideal candidate will have experience operating loaders. We will train on other heavy equipment such as our compost screener and turner. Pay rate is $18-22 per hour. WE DO NOT OFFER HEALTH INSURANCE.
Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment such as loaders, and farm machinery
- Follow safety protocols and ensure equipment is operated in a safe manner
- Conduct routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning is crucial
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently
- Adhere to project timelines and deadlines
Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating heavy equipment such as loaders, farm machinery
- Commercial driving license preferred but not required
- Strong knowledge of equipment operation and maintenance procedures
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
