This is an entry-level position to support our environmental services throughout the southeast.
Responsibilities of this position will include, but are not limited to:
• Performing environmental investigation and data collection to support our solid waste services.
• Field tasks include field reconnaissance, groundwater sampling, stormwater sampling, surface
water sampling, soil sampling, soil vapor surveys, landfill gas monitoring, and oversight of drilling
and well installation.
• Office tasks include database management, data evaluation, data summarization, soil boring log
preparation, potentiometric surface and cross-section evaluation, report preparation.
• Overnight travel across the region will be required.
Minimum Requirements
• BS or MS in Geology, Hydrogeology, or Environmental Engineering required for full time position.
• Must be able to perform field work in a variety of conditions.
• Must be able to proficiently use PC- based applications (e.g., MS Word and Excel).
• Must be highly motivated and have: Strong organizational and time management skills; Strong
written and oral communication, quantitative, and interpersonal skills; Strong work ethic and
professional demeanor; Attention to Detail is a must.
• Demonstrate a positive, team-oriented attitude and attention to detail/ownership of work products.
• Must have good teamwork skills but also be able to function independently on specific tasks.
• Must have a valid United States driver’s license.
