Job Summary:
The Warehouse Specialist would be responsible for , but not limited to, pulling orders, receiving freight and putting incoming freight away in a fast paced environment. Must be organized and able to work well with others. Sit down LP forklift experience is preferred but not required. Must be able to lift up to 100lbs. This position requires you to be on your feet most of the shift.
Essential Functions:
* Assist with loading of or loads and unloads goods and materials, using specialized equipment when required; unloads empty skids and returns all equipment to designated area
* Maintains signed invoices, shipping bills of lading, and other required paperwork; delivers documentation to shipping office or other appropriate staff
* Perform other related duties as assigned
* Ability to lift up to 100lbs.
* Must have basic computer skills
Required Skills/Abilities:
* Strong interpersonal and customer service skills; required to speak professionally and courteously with customers and staff at delivery points.
* Ability to remain focused in busy environment.
Education and Experience:
* High School Diploma, or equivalent
* Must pass background and drug testing as required by federal and/or state department(s) of transportation regulations.
* Prefer forklift experience
Physical Requirements:
* Required to lift a maximum of 100 pounds.
