Smoakland is an established, fast-growing cannabis delivery and distribution company based in Oakland, California.

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Inventory/Driver Operations Specialist for the night shift to oversee the efficient management of inventory and coordination of driver activities. This hybrid role is essential for maintaining optimal inventory levels and ensuring timely and accurate deliveries during night hours.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter willing to work independently and in a team setting to provide exceptional, organizational results with our day to day inventory. This individual must be very detailed oriented to keep track of both incoming and outgoing daily inventory. A strong understanding of the cannabis industry is preferred, but not necessarily required. Candidates must reside in the Oakland or surrounding areas.

Responsibilities:

• Night Shift : Scheduled from Wednesday through Sunday from 2:45 PM to 10:45 PM.
• Maintains accurate records of all incoming and outgoing products.
• Assist all delivery drivers with incoming and outgoing inventory.
• Helping the company develop and execute long-term goals.
• Keeping up with the cannabis industry and spread brand awareness and prospect for new clients
• Schedule and coordinate nightly driver routes to optimize delivery efficiency and minimize travel time.
• Communicate with drivers to ensure timely dispatch, delivery, and adherence to company policies.
• Track and monitor driver activities, providing support and assistance as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company procedures.
• Address and resolve any operational issues that arise during the night shift.
• Work closely with the day shift team to ensure a seamless transition between shifts.
• Collaborate with other departments to align inventory levels with demand forecasts.
• Provide feedback and insights to improve overall operational efficiency.

Requirements:

• MUST BE AT LEAST 21 YEARS OLD
• Must be reliable, dependable & trustworthy
• Minimum 1-year experience in relevant industry
• Great organization skills, in office and digitally.
• Fast and meticulous at learning new software to meet the needs of the company
• Ability to set and execute goals promptly.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work unsupervised.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with managers and coworkers.
• Positive attitude with the desire to be part of an exciting expanding company.
