Quality Technician - Night Shift

We are looking for a talented Quality Technician to join our growing team. You will be responsible to oversee the audits of process and products within the department to which they are assigned. This team member will interface with quality engineering functions to secure documentation needed for successful audits and be required to perform other duties as needed.

What you will be responsible for :

  • Interface with quality engineering functions to secure documentation needed for successful audits
  • Daily process audits designed to verify the process controls in use are being utilized and functioning
  • Process Audits
  • Ensure specifications are met according to the Control Plan in assigned area
  • Create and Follow up on Quality Alerts
  • Assist with Containment when defects occur
  • Download reading into the color care software
  • Advise the color harmony team when the readings are out of tolerance
  • Responsible for measuring orange peel and gloss using the Wave scan and Gloss meters
  • Assist the Color Technicians when needed
  • Perform related office and clerical functions such as, data entry and filing.
  • Assist with other duties as required.

What will you bring to the table (Skills/Experience Required):

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3 years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred Time management
  • Business Writing
  • General Computer Operation
  • Manufacturing Concepts
  • High School Diploma
  • Proficient in computer operation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications preferred
  • Good Communication Skills
