We are looking for a talented Warehouse Superintendent to join our growing team. A Warehouse Superintendent is responsible for optimization and assurance of booking procedures for purchased parts, half-parts, finished parts, scrap parts and returns for plant and related module centers

What you will be responsible for :

• Preparation of warehouse layouts according respective orders / adaption according needs
• Planning of material flow, organization of optimal warehouse processes
• Preparation and implementation of process descriptions / work descriptions
• Assurance of control of incoming goods and “ident”-quantities
• Organization of all inventory entry that are relevant in the respective departments including the realization of necessary adjustment posting to ensure the orderly inventory management
• Analysis of deficiency inventory, correction and starting of goal-oriented steps
• Work on mistakes in the processes
• Organization of empties management
• Organization of systematic processes regarding transport damage, empties damage, quantity differences, wrong deliveries, complaints
• To organize the handling of documents and of delivery notes, freight documents and customs documents
• Delivery time slots for shipping companies in collaboration with material scheduling / suppliers / forwarding agencies
• Organization of material provision purchased parts for all production and shipping departments
• Planning of the personnel planning considering all requirements of industrial law and efficiency
• Activities of security officer / announcement and monitoring of compliance regarding accident prevention precautions and orderly handling of lift trucks, containers, storage facility and material
• Realization of all valid organizational and quality regulations for the respective department
• Training of employees regarding new installations or changes in processes
• Collaboration in projects regarding logistic topics (warehouse organization, bookings, inventory reductions, production control, material disposition, freight optimization, integration of suppliers, planning of packaging, etc.)
• Responsible for stock of the plant and related module center
• State and target analysis of material consumption
• Development and monitoring of new processes (prototyping)
• Organization of logistic procedures on inventory
• Post-processing and conclusion of inventory
• Supervision and monitoring of subsystem data that are relevant for inventory (WM, Siemens, Fablog, Scanner, JIT)
• User profile for MM and WM (preparation of core concept)
• SAP R3 Key-User (MM and WM)
• Complete other duties as assigned.

What will you bring to the table (Skills/Experience Required):

• Business administration Bachelor’s degree with focus on logistics/materials management or relevant work experience.
• Forklift Truck experience
• 7 years in logistics field especially in automotive manufacturing
• 3 years of SAP R3 experience or similar (Oracle, . . .)
• Very good knowledge in EDV applications (SAP, MS Office)
• Personnel leadership
• Expertise SAP R3 module MM/WM
• Proficient with MRP/PPS Systems
• Proficient with JIT & JIS Order Control Systems
• Ability to read CAD models
• 5 Why knowledge (problem solving)
• 5S's good command
• Familiar with OSHA standards
• Process, Results driven
• Lean Manufacturing Principles
• Proficiency in English
• German/Spanish Language a plus
