SMP Security Services is Hiring a Security Manager - Part Time Near Sioux Falls, SD
STARTING PAY $25.00 HR
- Monday through Friday 430pm to 830pm
- Other hours as needed as position develops
- Paid weekly
- We are a locally owned family business!
- Work with client and corporate office on developing and improving security procedures
- Assist client with developing current security staff
- Monitoring patrons and ensuring the safety of guests and employees
- Establish and maintain positive working relationships with the client's employees and guests
- De-escalating confrontations
- Deter criminal activity and misconduct
- Compose written and verbal reports of observed security and safety concerns
- Minimum of 3 years experience in security or related field
- Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role
- Prior Military/Law Enforcement/Corrections training preferred
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to pass a thorough background check
- Detail oriented with good communication skills
- Must be comfortable in large crowds
- Principled - treats others how they would like to be treated, even when no one is looking
- Inspires Confidence - maintains a professional composure and inspires peace of mind by performing high quality work
