Role Description:

In the role of Legal Operations Manager (internally known as “Manager, Legal Operations”), you will manage the various operational needs and legal operations staff of the Legal Department to support the Company’s operations and operational needs and to facilitate the transaction of business under the Legal Department and the various departments of the Company.

Your day-to-day responsibilities as a Legal Operations Manager will include:

• Managing Legal Operations team, responsible for development of skills and resources for team
• In collaboration with counsel, managing and handling basic legal issues including vendor contract and NDA triage work
• Working collaboratively with the Department Head and other team members to ensure efficient legal and compliance workflows and processes are in place or improvements are identified
• Overseeing all regulatory and compliance filings with various states as administered by the Legal Department
• Preparing and updating Tokio Marine-related reporting on compliance, litigation, and corporate governance matters.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to exercise independent judgment
• Critical thinking and analytical skills
• The ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding matters entrusted to employee

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree required

Required Qualifications:

• Ability to obtain and maintain licensure as a Notary in the State of Missouri
• Paralegal certification and/or experience managing corporate legal departments
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, with emphasis on Excel

Compensation for the successful candidate will consider the candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, and geographic location.
