Job Title - BlackRock Aladdin Specialist

Duration – Long Term Contract / Permanent

Exp – 10 – 12 years

Work Mode – Hybrid (East Cost)

Responsibilities

• Aladdin Platform Customization - Configure & customize the Aladdin platform to meet the specific needs and requirements of clients.
• Implementation and Integration - Lead the implementation of Aladdin solutions for clients, ensuring smooth integration with existing systems.
• Troubleshooting and Support – 
• Provide ongoing support for Aladdin-related issues, troubleshoot problems, and offer timely resolutions to ensure system reliability. 
• Provide level 1 application support for Electronic trading
• Responsible for handling critical business incidents using the Aladdin platform. 
• Escalate complex technical problems to appropriate teams for further investigation & resolution. 
• Data Management - Oversee data management processes within Aladdin, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with industry standards.
• Stakeholder Management - Work closely with clients, internal teams, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver tailored Aladdin solutions.
• Training & Documentation - Maintain the Knowledge Base & document detailing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), support issues, resolutions, & best practices for future reference.
• Continuous Improvement - Stay abreast of industry trends and Aladdin updates, proposing and implementing enhancements to optimize system performance.
• Risk Management - Monitor and manage risks associated with Aladdin configurations, ensuring compliance with security and regulatory standards.

Domain skills needed

• Understanding of Asset classes such as Equities, Derivatives, Fixed Income and FX products.
• Good understanding of the Investment area i.e. Ticker, fund management, Mutual funds, ETF etc.
• Knowledge of Trading and Trade Booking lifecycle.
• Understanding of trade lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience working with BlackRock Aladdin, with a strong understanding of its features and capabilities.
• Technical proficiency in scripting languages and familiarity with APIs.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Relevant certifications in Aladdin or related technologies would be a plus.
