We're looking for a Growth Engineering Manager to join Snap!
What you’ll do:

• Create and manage cross-platform (iOS, Android, Backend) product and engineering roadmaps that will enable the foundations of our responsible growth product strategy
• Influence key decisions and tradeoffs on architecture and implementation of scalable, reliable, and cost-effective engineering solutions
• Create notification campaigns and products that are used by hundreds of millions of Snapchatters
• You'll manage engineers across different locations, and collaborate with leaders and executives across Snap to deliver the highest quality for our product
• Closely collaborate with PMs in order to translate product requirements into technical designs, which are then turned into engineering roadmaps
• Build and grow a team of exceptional software engineers and technical leaders and be a strong technical mentor

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Strong computer science fundamentals and technical skills
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lead and represent the team’s goals and projects with cross-functional business partners and leaders

Minimum Qualifications:

• BS/BA in a technical field such as Computer Science or equivalent experience 6
• 2 years managing teams of software engineers
• 7 years of experience working in software engineering
• Experience with large scale distributed systems and data pipelines
• Experience with backends that power mobile apps

Preferred Qualifications:

• 10 years of experience working in software engineering
• Experience with product development in the growth space
• Experience with Machine Learning ranking systems

CompensationIn the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These pay zones may be modified in the future.
Zone A (CA, WA, NYC):
The base salary range for this position is $222,000-$333,000 annually.
Zone B:
The base salary range for this position is $211,000-$316,000 annually.
Zone C:
The base salary range for this position is $189,000-$283,000 annually.
This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
