Job DescriptionProject ManagerSNAPSHOT!Looking for a chance to join one of the most exciting high-tech electronics Manufacturing company? THEN READ ON! This role involves dealing with every department in some capacity. A list of responsibilities are below. In general this position manages the design, testing, industrialization, release to production, servicing, and marketing of specific company products within budget and on schedule. This position may also manage non-product based projects such as business process improvements and miscellaneous projects. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are vital to ensure that all team members are communicating effectively to create the best product and processes possible. The culture of our company is to solve problems; this often means that we must communicate with customers directly to understand their requirements. The project manager will often must manage deliverables internally AND externally with suppliers and customers. Along with strong organization and communication skills, it is important that the project manager be reasonably knowledgeable technically about company products so that they may communicate effectively with engineering resources.   • 4-year technical degree, ideally some discipline of engineering (EE, ME, IE, etc.), preferred
  • Has worked in a manufacturing environment
  • Has managed projects preferably in an automotive environment
  • Understands concepts of engineer change control
  • Has knowledge or experience in managing mechanical and electrical product launches
  • Ideally PMP certified
  • Strong verbal and written communicator
  • Ability to lead and work with team members
  • Highly organized
  • Critical thinker
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
  • Advance Knowledge of MS Power Point
  • Familiarity with project management software such as MS project, Monday.com, etc.
  • Experience with MS Teams
  • Familiarity with reading technical drawings (electrical and mechanical)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
  • Manage projects/tasks that relate to product development, improvement, deployment and maintenance.
  • Manage projects/tasks for process improvement or business development activities (new facilities, training programs, etc.)
  • Ensure that all project team members are clear on deliverable expectations
  • Send out project reports indicating the health of the project to the project stakeholders
  • Follow up (in-person) with tasks and supply help or coordination needed to keep a project on schedule
  • Maintain the project schedule (gantt chart) in the Project Management System (Monday.com)
  • Own project information storage and dissemination (Sharepoint folder)
  • Host project meetings to facilitate discussion and decisions where needed
  • Identify risks in project plan and work with the project team to de-risk
