Construction Safety Consultant

Pay: $55,000-$90,000 Comprehensive Benefits Allowance
Location: Wheat Ridge, CO
Type of position: Direct Hire

How you will spend your time as a Construction Safety Consultant:

Provide on-site visits to assigned clients.
Ensure OSHA compliance at general industry and construction projects through hazard identification, training, and safety management system implementation.
Develop, implement, and monitor systems to meet OSHA requirements.
Develop compliance training associated with OSHA/EPA/FMCSA/PHMSA regulations.
Train client staff to specific requirements of OSHA/EPA/FMCSA/PHMSA
Conduct OSHA/EPA//FMCSA/PHMSA compliance assessments.
Conduct accident investigations.
Develop compliance calendars.
Develop safety and health programs and utilize the company Assured Compliance Software (ACS) to manage client site EHS obligations as directed.
Interpret standards and codes.
Manage client safety committees.
Manage third party contractor approval sites.
Support Colorado Cost Containment applications and program management.

Qualifications we would like you to have as a Construction Safety Consultant:

2 years of experience in a construction safety position.
Motivation, drive, stellar communication skills, confidentiality, ability to work independently, organizational skills and resourcefulness!
OSHA 10 and 30 training
Experience managing OSHA compliance at construction sites.
Experience conducting employee safety trainings in Fall Protection, PPE, Excavations, Ladder, Aerial Lifts, Steel Erection, etc.
Bachelor's degree in construction, engineering, or related field.
Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
