Job Description

We are looking for a competent team member to be responsible for the collection and control of contractual fee delinquencies, striking a balance between maintaining trustful relationships, and ensuring timely payments.

The incumbent will provide the highest level of service related to status of accounts, payments, and other concerns.

The successful incumbent will :

• Monitor contracts to identify outstanding items in compliance with the contract.
• Assist with collection and recording of contractual fees to ensure timely and accurate reporting and collections.
• Make contact on delinquent accounts and maintain accurate records by answering questions and processing requests by phone.
• Investigate historical data.
• Provide thorough and accurate documentation and report on collection activity and accounts receivable status. Update account status records and collection efforts
• Provide other support for the operation of the Accounting and Finance functions in the Business Operations section.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

An associate degree and experience in accounting, accounts payables, accounts receivables auditing, finance, insurance, or tax preparation and / or analysis.

A bachelor’s degree with multiple accounting courses may be substituted for work experience. An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be accepted.

• The ability to work independently.
• Knowledge of the principles, practices, methods, and theories of management, accounting, auditing, banking, and / or insurance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
