Senior Director, Tax Accounting Methods & Credits - Remote

SNI Financial has partnered with a large, international tax advisory firm to hire a Senior Director, Tax Accounting Methods & Credits. This seasoned-market, PE-owned, international tax advisory firm has lots of tenure and over 40-years of specialized tax consulting. This position will be responsible for leading a team of tax professionals focused on tax accounting methods and credits.

Responsibilities:

• Lead team of tax professionals and oversee continual professional development through coaching and encouragement of personal development
• Lead tax accounting methods, particularly with respect to fixed assets, repairs, inventory, and specified research or experimental expenditures
• Research tax technical issues and advise on solutions
• Oversee documentation and preparation of tax forms
• Provide IRS examination and support and handle appeals procedure
• Contribute ideas during engagements, meetings and client discussions
• Prepare and present CPE in all subject matter domains

Requirements:

• Excellent skillset in tax accounting methods, particularly with respect to fixed assets, repairs, inventory, and specified research or experimental expenditures
• Proficient at IRS tax examination and appeals procedure
• Comprehensive experience with tax research software
• Licensed EA, CPA or attorney required
• Very detail oriented and outstanding oral and written communication skills
