Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for critical care nursing and providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Provide direct patient care in the ICU setting
- Monitor and assess patients' conditions, implementing appropriate interventions
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Operate and monitor specialized medical equipment such as ventilators
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Adhere to infection control policies and procedures
- Assist with diagnostic evaluations and patient assessments
Experience
Required:
- Current RN license
- Experience working in an ICU or critical care setting
- Knowledge of ICD-10 coding system
- Strong clinical skills including ventilator management and pain management
- Ability to work effectively in a high-stress environment
Nice-to-have:
- Experience in neonatal or pediatric ICU settings
- Background in internal medicine or medical office nursing
- Familiarity with nursing home care practices
