Job DescriptionThis is an opportunity to serve as one of two National Sales Leaders for the Hematology Franchise, with responsible for the East Geography. This leader will be responsible for leading leaders and setting the vision and direction for a team of Hematology Regional Business Directors and Clinical Account Managers. The role will report directly into the Hematology Franchise Head.
Essential Responsibilities/Scope Of The JobIncluding, but not limited to the following
  • Lead, coach, and manage the East Hematology team.
  • Work with the Regional Business Directors to improve and evolve sales force competencies, customer relationship management, and talent development.
  • Attract, develop, and retain high performing internal/external talent to effectively meet or exceed business expectations.
  • Provide personalized coaching and situational leadership practices to develop individual/team skills and abilities to meet performance expectations.
  • Partner effectively with the cross functional teams, particularly the marketing team in ensuring excellence in execution of all brand related activities.
  • Drive a culture of collaboration, accountability, innovation, creativity, and high-quality decision-making.
  • Effectively delegate and manage all resources and budgets for their area.
  • Fully accountable for ensuring culture of compliance by partnering with Regulatory, Legal, and Compliance departments to act within the rules.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 10 years’ experience in pharmaceutical sales or healthcare, at least 5 years specifically with hematology and/or oncology
  • Extensive experience in rare disease therapeutic areas and KOL development
  • 5 years of prior Sales Management experience; Experience in second line management preferred
  • Demonstrated communication competencies, including presentation skills
  • Understanding of the oncology marketplace, including the challenges of GPO/IDN influence
  • Ability to identify strategies with greatest business impact, formulate an appropriate business plan and enroll their teams to execute the plan
  • Exhibited ability to manage multiple, concurrent work-streams in diverse functional areas
  • Successful experience working in a cross-functional, team selling/education environment
  • Experience in managing budgets and resources

The base salary pay range for this role is $248,983 – $309,796 annually. Actual pay for this position will take into account factors such as experience and location. In addition to a base salary, this position is also eligible for a competitive 401k match, short and long-term incentives, medical, dental, vision, STD/LTD and life insurance benefits, in addition to other health and wellness programs and offerings.
