About this Position: 

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Communications Associate to join our team. Reporting to the Senior Director of Strategic Communications, the Communications Associate will provide critical administrative and strategic support. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects, develop engaging content, and support our clients' communications efforts.

Objectives & Responsibilities:

• Create compelling content, including but not limited to social media posts, executive thought leadership pieces, and newsletters.
• Contribute to the drafting, editing, and proofreading of various communications materials to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Assist the Senior Director, Strategic Communications with scheduling, meeting preparation, and general administrative tasks.
• Use project management tools to track tasks, deadlines, and progress on various communications initiatives.
• Develop agendas for meetings and ensure all necessary materials are prepared and distributed in advance.
• Attend client calls and internal meetings, taking detailed notes and recording follow-up actions.
• Assist in creating and formatting presentation slides for internal and client meetings.

Requirements: 

• Minimum 3 years of related communications experience.
• Superior writing and editing skills, highly detail-oriented with strong follow-through.
• Keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy and consistency in all communication materials.
• Ability to proofread and edit content meticulously.
• Proactive, creative, and able to take detailed notes.
• Proficiency with Google Suite (Docs, Slides, Sheets) and experience with project management tools (e.g., Asana)
• Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Canva is a plus.
• Ability to track time accurately and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
