Responsibilities:
- Conduct behavioral assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for learners with developmental disabilities
- Implement and monitor behavior intervention programs using applied behavior analysis techniques
- Provide direct behavioral therapy to learners, including teaching new skills and reducing challenging behaviors
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including special education teachers, speech therapists, and occupational therapists, to ensure coordinated care
- Collect and analyze data to evaluate treatment progress and make necessary adjustments to intervention plans
- Provide training and support to caregivers and other professionals involved in the learners care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date treatment documentation and records
Experience:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
- Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques
- Familiarity with special education practices and regulations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively work with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
- Ability to assess learners needs, develop appropriate treatment plans, and monitor progress over time
