Description

Service Navigator- needed for full-time, temp to perm position in Washington DC completing in-person intakes and related assessments and screening procedures for new guests at the shelter. Will review program rules and client rights and responsibilities with guests and enter data. Is responsible for the proper handling of data entry and storage of confidential and sensitive information. Requires Bachelor's degree in social work, licensure within the jurisdiction and a minimum one year experience working with at-risk clients in a direct service setting, experience in crisis management and at least two years experience working with clients who have a history of homelessness, and/or clients with addiction and mental health diagnoses. Pay Range: $24-$26/hr.
Position Requirements

Bachelors Degree in Social Work.
A minimum of one year's experience working with at risk clients in a direct service setting required and providing crisis intervention services.
Minimum of two years' experience working with clients who have a history of homelessness, and/or clients with addiction and mental health diagnoses.
Experience providing direct service to a highly vulnerable population in a similar setting may substitute for a bachelor's degree.
