The Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM) seeks a capable, detail-oriented, and highly motivated individual for the position of Student Member Coordinator.
Reporting to the Membership Manager, the Student Member Coordinator manages the SIAM Student Chapter Program, works to engage current student members, and provides support for the SIAM Membership Department as needed.
This position is required to have excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams/Sharepoint; general competence with online communication platforms such as Zoom, Higher Logic, Slack, and RealMagnet; be an excellent communicator; have an ability to work independently and manage time without close supervision; have some knowledge of database queries and data entry; be capable of producing professional documents and correspondence with minimal errors; and provide excellent customer service. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience working with students and/or associations a plus.
