Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
- Enter orders into the POS system and process payments
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring guest satisfaction
- Assist with food preparation and ensure proper presentation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints with professionalism
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a server or in a similar role preferred
- Strong guest relations skills and ability to provide exceptional service
- Familiarity with OpenTable or other reservation systems is a plus
- Proficient in using POS systems for order entry and payment processing
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to anticipate guest needs
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for handling payments and making change accurately
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
