SoCode are exclusively recruiting for a Software Engineering Manager for our client - an established global software company who are leaders in their field.
This is unique role in which we will need a hands-on leader with strong technical skills and a clear desire to wear many hats.
We are looking for someone who is happy to get stuck in and role model exceptional hands on Software Engineering when required.
The new Software Engineering Manager will need to show strong skills in the 2 categories below:
1) Strong Hands on Technical Capabilities in :
Microsoft C#/.Net Stack Engineering
Cloud Services / DevOps (Azure or AWS)
Microservices & SOA
Scrum practices, Lean Agile, TDD
2) Management / Leadership:
Reporting to the Development Director, you will be responsible for the day to day management of 15 Software Professionals (3 Scrum Teams).
You will be an ambassador for process and Best Practice across your engineering function and step in for the Scrum Master when required.
Our client has a strong Agile / Modern Development methodology and are passionate about continuous improvement.
The Software Engineering Manager should be an ambassador for Continuous Improvement and Learning and Development.
The role will be based in Lake Forest, California. Our client operates a hybrid work environment where all staff should be on site for 3 days a week.
The successful candidate will be rewarded with a strong blue chip benefits package along with a salary in the $200,000 to $246,000 range.
